General Requirements
- Applicants must have a current Admissions Application on file at Ivy Tech Columbus campus. (Students who have not attended classes for two or more years must submit a new application.)
- Applicants must meet minimum GPA requirements where stipulated. Grade point averages (GPAs) are based on a 4.0 scale.
- Scholarships are intended for use at the Columbus campus of Ivy Tech Community College and its sites in Franklin, Greensburg, Nashville, North Vernon, and Seymour, and are not transferable to other regions or institutions.
- Any unused Foundation scholarship monies will revert to the Foundation to be re-awarded to future deserving students.
- All scholarships have specific guidelines regarding usage of the funds. If a student receives a scholarship but is already receiving similar funding, then the scholarship award may be rescinded.
- Student must be enrolled for at least six credit hours.
Application Instructions
- Complete a FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid).
- Scholarship applications and supporting materials must be received by the Ivy Tech -Columbus campus Financial Aid Office by May 31, 2011.
- Complete application forms must have the appropriate supporting materials, including an essay, attached. Applications lacking required materials will not be considered.
- Award amounts vary for each scholarship and will be disclosed to the student when he/she receives an award letter from Ivy Tech Foundation.
- Scholarships require a new application each academic year but not each semester.
- Carefully review each scholarship to note which scholarships you may be eligible to receive.

At times additional scholarship monies may become available after the application deadline. Your application will be retained, even if you do not receive an initial reward, and considered for these as appropriate.
Scholarship selection is made by a committee of Ivy Tech Community College -Columbus faculty from varying disciplines and staff, including representation from Ivy Tech Foundation.
All applications will be given equal consideration.
